Farmaceuticos Comunitarios (ISSN 2173-9218) is a multidisciplinary scientific journal of the Sociedad Española de Farmacia Clínica, Familiar y Comunitaria, which was founded in 2009. Its mission is to publish original scientific articles (over 75% of the papers published are derived from a research project) in fields related to community pharmacy. The journal publishes an average of 25 articles per year.
It is a refereed journal that uses the system of anonymous external peer review (double-blind peer review) using the "double-blind" methodology. This is an open access (OA) journal, meaning that all content is freely available at no cost to the user or institution. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without a prior request for permission from the publisher or author. All works and materials are covered by a Creative Commons license.
The Farmaceuticos Comunitarios journal does not charge fees for submission of manuscripts or publication of articles.
Farmaceuticos Comunitarios is aimed primarily at community pharmacy professionals and researchers, as well as authors of papers on interdisciplinary subjects related to this field.
Farmaceuticos Comunitarios is a journal of reference with a high level of impact in Spain in the professional fields of family and community pharmacy.

Farmaceuticos Comunitarios accepts only original research studies that produce significant developments in a specific field, studies that prove important existing theories, works based on innovative methodological processes, and rigorous review articles. It also accepts articles on pedagogical experiences, opinion, or debate on topics which are of interest and/or controversial in the view of the Editorial Board.
