A new milestone to keep growing

Since the 1990s, the Spanish Community Pharmacies has taken on major responsibilities in obtaining definite and measureable health results for patients who require medications. To this effect, it has deployed new Professional Pharmaceutical Services (PPS) which complement, deliver and add new value to drug dispensing. The process took the innovation quality similar to the incorporation of all new health technology and from the very start it relied on the realization of studies on scientific research methods aimed at evaluating results in improving the health of patients and users and demonstrating rigorously the performance of the new PPSs added by community pharmacists to their traditional activity.
