Abstract :
“Make your life a dream and your dream a reality.” This pearl of wisdom from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of The Little Prince, reflects the genius of all the pioneers who have been capable of transforming their present by anticipating the future. Francisco Martínez, the founder and first president of SEFAC, worked hard to make his dream, our dream, a reality, nearly 20 years ago. Disturbed and surprised to discover that not a single pharmaceutical conference included papers written by community pharmacists, he contacted associations all over Spain that shared his vision to found SEFAC, the only national society created by and for community pharmacists.
