Abstract : 

In Spain, 18% of the population is aged over 65, of which 6% is aged over 80. In 2050 we will be the third-oldest country in the world. Also, 87% of senior citizens want to live in their own homes for as long as possible, but when this is not possible they or their families make the decision for them to live in a public healthcare facility. This is not a simple decision, but it is a necessary one.
